A Warm and Loving Open House at Beit Zatoun!

February 24, 2010

Thank you to the many who joined the Open House on Saturday, Feb-20 to celebrate Beit Zatoun in Toronto. The evening was totally amazing! Very informal but so warm and loving! You could just feel the energy and the good will towards Beit Zatoun.

People began streaming in at 7:00 sharp and kept coming in until 10:00. No real idea of attendance as people left and were replaced by others - it was bubbling with talk and camaraderie for the whole time. An estimate would be 160 or more - it was lovely to have many families visiting with young children!

An archway to be installed at the front entrance was unveiled at 8:30 with a brief introduction. Made of solid pine and carved with the Beit Zatoun logo and with scenes of orchards, hills and houses it stands 10 feet high. Not quite complete yet, it is expected to be ready to be installed in mid-March.

The large assortment of savory pastries, vegetables and dips, fruit platters and desserts all disappeared as did the drinks. The signature coffee with cardamom, de-caf black tea with sage, pomegranate punch as well as mint spring water with lemon were all huge hits. Beit Zatoun is an exotic destination.

Thank you for all for visiting and see you again and often at Beit Zatoun!

Enjoy the many pics.
